Henry is a Canadian based dj and producer who has been playing underground parties and festivals for 30 years. But his love of dance music goes further back. At age 4 he bought his first club single and his brother-in-law owned the best discotheque in town, in the 70’s he had heard a majority of the club classics first hand. Learning with turntables in 1987, Henry eventually settled on djing house music in 1995.

He quickly became one of the pillars of the house/progressive house scene on the West Coast, influencing many Dj’s who now play in this space today.

He has been fortunate to intimately know club music from its origins and has watched it grow and progress over 5 decades.

Henry currently plays between deep, organic house, breakbeat and techno, he enjoys long sets and deep music programming.

Notable music events:

In 2002, Henry was one of 3 Canadians chosen to play at the Acapulco Sound Festival (ACA), at the time headlining the best DJ talent in the world, attending as producer Astral Tiger. Acts included Sasha and Digweed, Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia, Danny Howells, Danny Rampling, Jose Padilla, Mixmaster Morris and Lee Burridge.

He has played Burning Man every year in 17 years of attendance (non-consecutive), starting from the year 2000.

In 2019, Henry was chosen to play on the legendary Robot Heart Art Car, one of the world’s most coveted dj stages.

In 2020 during the pandemic Henry recorded an astounding 9.5 hour live continuous dj mix. Listen to it here.

In 2021, his Burning Man dj set was one out of two mixes picked by the Burning Man official newsletter. Of the thousands of dj’s that play Burning Man every year, this was an incredible honour. Listen to that mix here.
